Kids Art and Craft Classes in Patna
Drawing, painting, paper craft and clay for children aged 4 to 12. Patient teachers, small groups, real projects children take home each week.
Where Children Learn the Skill Behind Every Project
Our kids art and craft classes in Rajeev Nagar take children from 4 to 12 years. The focus is on building a real set of skills over time: holding a pencil correctly, mixing colours, understanding light and shadow, planning a craft before cutting the paper. These are small things, but they decide whether a child enjoys art for years or gives up by class 5.
Every batch covers both art (drawing, painting, shading) and craft (paper work, origami, clay, seasonal projects). Children work on something they can take home each class. That one piece of paper on the fridge at home does more for a child's confidence than any certificate.

What Our Art and Craft Classes Cover
Six broad areas we rotate through so children get a full creative base.
Drawing Basics
Lines, shapes, proportion and simple perspective. Children learn to look at an object properly before trying to draw it.
Colour and Painting
Crayons and oil pastels for the youngest, poster colour and watercolour for older children. Mixing colours, flat washes and simple blending.
Shading and Texture
Pencil shading, cross-hatching and simple texture work. This is where a child's drawings start to look lifelike instead of flat.
Paper Craft and Origami
Folding, cutting, sticking. Children build steady hand control and learn to follow a sequence of steps.
Clay Work
Simple hand-shaped clay projects, air-drying so children can keep what they make. Great for children who like working with their hands.
Seasonal Projects
Rakhi, Diwali diyas, Christmas cards, greeting cards for parents. Projects children feel proud to give away or display at home.
Why Art and Craft Matters Beyond the Classroom
School time is heavy with reading, writing and maths. For most children, art is the one hour in the week where they are not being measured against a correct answer. That matters more than it sounds.
Art builds patience. A child who finishes a drawing properly, instead of rushing through it, is learning something that will carry into homework and exams. Art builds observation. The way a child sees a tree after a drawing class is different from before. Art builds confidence quietly. A child who hears "I like what you did with the colour" every week stops being afraid to try new things.
Parents often come to us saying their child has handwriting trouble. In many cases, a few months of drawing and shading improves pencil control enough that handwriting also gets better. It is not magic. It is just more hours of thoughtful pencil work.
Who Our Art Classes Suit
Children who draw on every piece of paper at home. Children who say they are bad at drawing but actually just need patient guidance. Children who find school tiring and need a quieter hobby. Children already in a physical program like gymnastics or dance who want a calmer activity to balance it out.
Families from Rajeev Nagar, Kankarbagh, Boring Road and Rupaspur come to us. If you are coming from further, we can suggest a weekend batch so the travel is worth your time.
About Our Approach
We teach the skill, not the single project. Many classes in Patna hand a child a pre-drawn outline to colour. That is not teaching. Our teachers show the child how to look at a shape, how to break it down, how to start with light pencil strokes. Then the child draws it themself.
You will see rough work from the first weeks and clean, confident drawings in a few months. That progress is the whole point.
