Kids Dance Classes in Patna
Bollywood, folk and freestyle dance for children aged 4 to 14, in a studio where confidence matters more than perfect steps.
Kids Dance Classes That Build Confidence First, Steps Second
Our kids dance classes in Rajeev Nagar take children from 4 to 14 years and work on three main areas: Bollywood, folk and freestyle. Younger children start with rhythm, clapping games and simple movement patterns. Older children work on full choreography and small performance routines.
Dance is about using the body freely, keeping time with music, and standing in front of people without freezing. For most children in Patna, this is the first space where they are told it is okay to make a mistake and keep moving. That one shift changes how they carry themselves in school too.
- Age 4 to 14, grouped by age and ability

What Children Learn in Our Dance Classes
Six things we work on in every batch, in different ways for each age group.
Rhythm and Timing
Clapping, counting and simple step patterns. Children learn to hear the beat before they are asked to perform complex choreography.
Co-ordination
Hands, feet, hips and face working together. This is one of the quiet long-term benefits dance gives children, far beyond the dance floor.
Stage Presence
How to stand, how to look at the audience, how to smile and keep going if a step is missed. The small things that make a child look confident.
Group Work
Dancing in a line or circle with other children. Learning to match the group energy and support a child who is struggling with a step.
Expression
Face, eyes and attitude. Especially important in Bollywood and folk, where expression carries the song as much as the steps do.
Fitness and Stamina
A good 45 minutes of dance is also a good 45 minutes of light cardio. Children leave class a little tired, a little happier, and a lot more flexible over time.
What a First Dance Class Looks Like
First class is kept simple. We warm up with music, play a rhythm game, and teach one small step pattern, maybe four counts of a Bollywood song, nothing more. The child does not need any prior training. We watch to see how they move, what they like, and what they are nervous about.
Parents are welcome to watch the first class from the viewing area. By the second or third session, most children prefer their parent to wait at reception. That is a healthy sign, it means the child feels safe in the room.
If your child is coming from Kankarbagh or Boring Road, give yourself an extra 15 minutes for traffic the first day. Our centre is on Ghurdaur Road in Rajeev Nagar and parking is easy to find.
Who Our Dance Classes Suit
Children who light up when a song plays at home. Children who are shy in a group and need something to help them come out of their shell. Children who already dance for fun and want some structure. Parents who want their child to have one creative, physical activity outside school that they look forward to.
We take about the same number of boys as girls. Nobody in our class is told dance is only for anyone. It is a skill. Every child can learn it at their own level.
How Our Dance Class Differs
Many dance classes in Patna run large batches and teach one group routine for the whole year. Our batches are small so a teacher can actually correct posture, hand position and footwork for each child.
We also do not line children up by age alone. A quieter 9 year old may fit better with the 7-8 group for a while, and a confident 6 year old may move up early. The goal is for every child to feel they belong in their batch.
