A Real Gymnastics Academy for Kids in Rajeev Nagar
Kids Activity & Gymnastics Centre runs one of the few structured kids gymnastics programs in Patna that groups children strictly by age and ability rather than mixing everyone into one batch. Whether your child is completely new to gymnastics or has already picked up the basics somewhere else, classes start from where they actually are — not where a generic syllabus assumes they should be.
The training covers the core building blocks of children's gymnastics: tumbling and floor exercise, basic balance beam work, coordination drills, and progressive strength and flexibility training. Every skill is taught in small, supervised steps, using proper mats and age-appropriate equipment, so children build real ability instead of just imitating a move they've seen online.
- Age-appropriate batches from 3 to 12 years
- Certified coaches with 5+ years of experience
- Small group sizes for closer supervision
- Tumbling, balance beam basics, floor exercise & flexibility work
- Classes Monday to Saturday, 7 AM – 7 PM
What Your Child Actually Learns in Gymnastics Class
Gymnastics training is broken into skill areas that build on each other over weeks, not a single random routine.
Strength & Flexibility
Bodyweight conditioning and stretching routines that build core strength and joint flexibility safely, at a pace suited to a growing child's body.
Balance & Body Control
Low balance beam work, single-leg balance drills and spatial awareness exercises that improve overall body control.
Tumbling & Floor Skills
Forward and backward rolls, cartwheel progressions and basic floor sequences, taught step by step on proper crash mats.
Coordination & Motor Skills
Drills that connect eyes, hands and feet - the same coordination that helps with handwriting, cycling and other sports later.
Confidence & Discipline
Visible, session-by-session progress that builds a child's belief in their own effort, plus the discipline of following structured coaching.
Safety Awareness
Children learn to fall safely, use equipment correctly and respect spotting instructions - habits that protect them well beyond the gym.
Gymnastics by Age Group
Which age is right to start gymnastics? Here's roughly how batches are structured at our Rajeev Nagar centre.
Ages 3–5
Play-based movement, basic body awareness, simple rolls and jumps. The focus is comfort with movement, not skill mastery.
Ages 6–8
Structured tumbling progressions, introductory balance beam work, and the start of proper coordination and flexibility drills.
Ages 9–12
More advanced floor sequences, longer balance routines, and greater strength and flexibility conditioning as the body is ready for it.
What to Expect in Your Child's First Gymnastics Class
A first gymnastics class is mostly about observation - coaches watch how a child moves, balances and follows instructions before deciding what to introduce first. There's no pressure to perform a specific skill on day one.
Expect a warm-up (light stretching and movement games), a skills block where coaches demonstrate and guide, and a cool-down. Parents are welcome to observe from the designated parent area, and coaches are happy to answer questions about what comes next for your specific child.
